Who is a Fasīḥ?
A student who has reached C1 in our placement, completed at least two advanced seminars, and contributed at least one written essay to the school's annual journal.
Fusahaa is the inner circle of Salsabil: students who have completed the advanced track and continue with us as readers, writers, and, often, future teachers.

On the first Saturday of every month, the Fusahaa meet to read a single classical text together — sometimes a poem, sometimes a chapter of prose. Open recordings are shared with the wider community.
Each spring we publish Salsabīl, a slim journal of essays, translations, and original Arabic writing by our students. Submissions are read by a teacher and returned with notes.
Fusahaa who wish to teach begin a one-year apprenticeship: shadowing a senior teacher, then co-teaching, then leading their own class.
