One ninety-minute live class per week, plus three to five hours of homework. Two terms per year (October–February, March–June) with a quiet summer of optional reading.
Classes are offered in Arabic, English, and French. The medium of instruction shifts gradually toward Arabic as the student's level rises.
By the end of year three, most adult students read voweled classical texts with comprehension, write a short essay in Arabic, and converse on familiar topics. Years four and beyond move into literature and balāgha.
